In collaboration with the new music ensemble Orchestra 2001, we are premiering a newly created work for us. Performances in the spring and summer in Philadelphia will be announced. We are now working with multiple Pennsylvania towns and counties to help them celebrate the Semiquincentennial in 2026 and are continuing educational events for school children. The Philly Fife and Drum Company is also working with event and party planners from around the country for events at Philadelphia historic sites. If you have interest in booking us for the spring or summer of 2026, contact us right away! Dates will be held with a signed contract and a minimum $500 deposit. Special Events to Share

We opened for the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg on January 10 for the 2026 kick-off event for America250PA and the “Bells of PA”. With us is the PA Department of Veterans and Military Affairs Color Guard, Miss Pennsylvania, the Executive Director of America250PA, Cassandra Coleman, and the Agricultural Secretary and guest speaker, Russell Redding. Also with us is Betsy Ross and the PA Mascots the Hershey’s Kiss and the 250PA Keystone.
Carpenter’s Hall was the site of America250PA’s convening of states and partners in preparation for the nation’s Semiquincentennial. Philly Fife and Drum was at the ground floor of these celebrations.

The Philly Fife and Drum corps play the six hole Model F fife in Bb. These fifes were originally offered for sale through the Be-A-Fifer site run by Ed Boyle www.beafifer.com, which is no longer in service. Some of our latest videos are of PhillyDrummer Pat O’Shea and PhillyFifer Lois Herbine and their play-along videos with scrolling music against a photo backdrop. One week after her Monmouth Battlefield video was posted our director was invited to play the actual recreation of the battle as the British fifer.
