DESCRIPTION:Four members of the Philly Fife and Drum Company would have led the annual Historic 4th of July Parade through Skippack Village in Skippack Pennsylvania\, but the event was cancelled due to extreme heat. The 2 mile parade route is on Rt 73 or “Revolution Road”.  It is called Revolution Road because George Washington and his troops marched up and back on this road a documented six times during the American Revolution between 1777 and 1778.
