Greater Whitemarsh 250 kick off event

The Philly Fife and Drum Company will be helping launch this event. Festivities include a Colonial flag presentation by our director geared to fourth through sixth graders and their families, costumed reenactors, both historical society and historical site information booths, plus Colonial desserts and snacks for sale. The event is free of charge. While there you can visit the gravesites of soldiers who died in the Revolutionary Battle held at the Churchs’ doorstep, This is the best place to pick-up your new “Greater Whitemarsh 250” passport book, good through 2028, which encourages kids and the young at heart to learn about places, events and people who shaped our area by visiting the local sites throughout the Revolutionary War trail.
